The Intermittent Newsletter

Here's what I've been up to and interested in lately…

Once You See It...

magic trick instructions

I wrote about how topics like inclusion, diversity, accessibility, and universal design can have a magical effect on your worldview. More importantly, about why we'll never have enough people discussing all of those things. Read the post.

Things of Interest

I finished reading Claire L. Evans' Broad Band and it was fantastic. It's a look at internet history through the stories of some amazing and fascinating women who helped pioneer everything we take for granted today. Highly recommend it.

Frank Chimero wrote up his modest guide to productivity. You don't have to follow every recommendation, but there are definitely some gems in there. Using actual paper for things is *kisses fingers**.

Speaking of inclusion, accessibility, and universal design, this article from Matt May defining all three terms is a great read. I love his metaphor of inclusion being like mountain climbing. Intrigued? Read it.

These things we love in the world are not in this world, unless we continually put energy into them, supportive energy into them.
